The best features of French Press and pour-over brewing were accomplished with a patented stopper — a most simple valve lever. Clever Dripper has eliminated the drawbacks of French Press mesh filters by giving control over steeping while removing the sediment.

Brewing with a paper filter is easy, convenient and clean. This is full immersion brewing. Like all filter-cone brewing, you directly control the temperature of the water, ratio of water to grind and infusion time.

Clever Drippers come in BPA plastic or porcelain, make great travel companions and pour a full cup.

Sentiment without the sediment

Coffee: 27g/0.95 oz [this is a 14:1 ratio]
Grind: [fine] 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 [coarse]
Water:
378g/13.3 oz @ 90.5C / 195F
Fold and insert filter. Rinse filter. Add the grind.
Add all the hot water.
Stir slowly about 5 times for ample agitation.
Cover.  Wait 4 minutes (don't scrimp).
    There will be a rush of water and sometimes this can put a hole in your filter. To keep that from happening, fold your filter at the bottom. No. 6 filters are better than No. 4 filters to keep the top of the filter even with the brewing device. Because the No. 6 is larger, you can also fold each side of the cone by a half-inch and it fits very well. If you are discriminating, try Filtropa filters.
